Texas Junior Anglers

is an outreach program designed to:

  • Educate young Texans regarding aquatic sportsmanship
  • Promote conservation of our environment and natural resources
  • Encourage a lifetime enjoyment of the Texas outdoors
  • Foster strong community relationships
Fishing is a lifetime sport that builds self-esteem and provides a positive outlet for our youth.

Involving children in a sport that provides equality for race, gender, age, and physical/mental abilities provides a means of relaxation and a time for family communication.

Texas Junior Anglers has formed an alliance with Texas Parks and Wildlife to utilize “ Community Fishing Lakes”. Texas Junior Anglers also hosts events at city parks, fairs and rodeos, schools, etc.
